I’ve worked for 30-odd years as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator, producing cartoons for a variety of outlets, including postcards/greetings cards (Dixon’s, Country Cards), magazines and papers (Country Life, The Oldie, IW County Press), books, guides and similar publications (OUP, CUP, Penguin, Macmillan, Nelson Thornes, Audit Commission). Not to mention one tea towel.

I’ve also written and illustrated a dozen or so books of humour of my own, including Scottish bestsellers ‘Scotland for Beginners’ (NWP) and ‘The Cannae Sutra’ (Birlinn), along with, most recently, ‘Terribly English’ (Souvenir Press). Happy to consider anything old or new (but not too much borrowed or blue).
