PAUL HARDMAN

Paul joined the Channel Four Racing Morning Line team shortly after it first went on air and drew the Picture Puzzle every Saturday and festival day since that time for over fourteen years.

He is a member of the British Cartoonists’ Association, the Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain , the Cartoonist Guild and the worldwide Federation of Cartoonists’ Organisations.

Paul’s work has appeared in most of the National Press publications and in many magazines and periodicals. For several years he worked as sports editorial cartoonist for the Daily and Sunday Mirrors and occasionally for the Sporting Life.

Internationally he has been awarded prizes in several European competitions and is well known for his layout and storyboard work for many films and commercials.

This work has taken him to Hollywood where he worked on background design, character design, layout and creative story boarding on the film, Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. As a background designer and layout supervisor he has worked on a number of children’s animated cartoon series for CITV including Little Ghosts, Preston Pig, Pong Whiffy, Ivor the Invisible and more for the overseas market. Story book layout and design has included work for Disney and Warner as well as recent work on the Rugrats and Ninja Turtles.
